FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
– JULY 15, 2009 – ANN ARBOR, MICH. –
SRT Solutions is hosting Chet Hendrickson and Rich
Garazaniti, for their Test Driven Development (TDD) course July 21 through July
23. The three-day course will help
software developers write cleaner, clearer code, faster.
“As experts in the field who help others with
business-critical software, we recognize the importance of staying ahead of the
technology curve,” said Bill Wagner, SRT Solutions co-founder. “TDD is a way for developers to write better
code, faster, and with less errors, ultimately helping them perform better at
their jobs. Hands-on learning with Chet
and Rich is a unique opportunity to enhance skills and work alongside XP
experts.”
Software developers who participate in the course will learn
the basics of TDD and refactoring via lecture, demonstration, and hands-on
learning. The class is conducted in both
Java and C#, with short morning lectures followed by hands-on programming
sessions.
The TDD course at SRT Solutions will also offer information
on how to efficiently retrofit tests into legacy code.
Chet Hendrickson, principal at HendricksonXP, is a recognized
expert in agile software development. He
co-authored Extreme Programming Installed with Ron Jeffries and Ann
Anderson. Chet and Rich were developers
on the Chrysler C3 project, widely considered to be the birth project of
