CodeMash 2008: Software Conference by Developers for Developers, Opportunity to “Ask the Experts”

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – DECEMBER 27, 2007 – ANN ARBOR, MICH. – CodeMash 2008, the preeminent software development conference between the coasts, will be held January 9-11, 2008 at the Kalahari Lodge in Sandusky, Ohio. Known as the software conference by developers, for developers, CodeMash will offer attendees the latest information on software development techniques, languages and architecture as well as the chance to "Ask the Experts" and a collaborative forum to debate emerging methodologies and tactics.

"The highly technical nature of CodeMash is a result of its design; unlike other software conferences that cover myriad topics, CodeMash is tightly focused on innovative software development and emerging technologies," explained SRT Solutions' co-founder and a CodeMash organizer, Dianne Marsh. "Since software developers organize, participate in and attend CodeMash, the conference is a chance to share best practices and learn from peers. Additionally, CodeMash attracts attention to the talent that is here in Midwest, providing an excellent opportunity for companies to recruit."

CodeMash session topics encompass all areas of software programming platforms and languages, including Scala, Python, Ruby, C#, F#, Groovy, Java, and .Net. Sample sessions include "Applied Service Oriented Architecture," "Topics in EJB3," and "Building Custom Workflow Activities", as well as "Why I Love Python" and "Introducing Android."

In addition to acting as volunteer organizers for the conference, SRT Solutions is sponsoring "Ask the Experts," a new addition to CodeMash 2008. "Ask the Experts" makes available CodeMash speakers and other experts for discussion and Q&A with attendees, providing a distinct opportunity for CodeMash attendees to obtain information and guidance on highly technical challenges from those in the know.
