I have loved my copy of Effective C# and I didn't think it possible, but this is even better.  While it still focuses on C#, the scope seems larger and has good advice on .NET development and Software engineering practice.  Bill excels at the short essay format and has created a very readable and entertaining book which lives up to the legacy of its predecessors in the effective series.
