What’s Behind Your Web
Content?
You’ve got content, but how can
you use it? Static HTML sites are just that:
static publications. You must
work with the webmaster to update content. This generate / publish cycle
disconnects your web presence from your business reality. To accelerate the flow
of information, you must look at alternatives: You can use a Content Management System (CMS) to create and
maintain your site. You can use blogs to communicate with others. You can use
a wiki to let everyone
contribute. You can repurpose your web content for other uses: Newsletters, press releases,
announcements, calendars. In fact, your website may become a window to a repository of all your corporate knowledge,
exposing information in context; some of it securely, some for specific classes of users. Learn from
professionals that have created high-velocity web presences for their own companies, and their clients.
This interactive session will
explain these different technologies, when to use each, and how to leverage each
to your best advantage.
