Save Money with Green Computing: Leveraging Cloud Platforms
Cloud Computing platforms promise to give you flexibility to scale your IT infrastructure on demand and deliver global scope with lower cost. We’ll talk about YOUR business and whether or not it makes sense to have a cloud strategy.

About SRT’s Executive Briefing Series
Our executive briefing series is designed to provide an executive overview of technologies – to the point, relevant technology insight. Our goal is to help you answer the question “WHY” you might adopt a new technology.
And, as much as SRT’s staff likes to develop software and talk about “HOW” to implement new technologies, we won’t do this at the Executive Briefing Series. To make sure we stay on message, we’ll pay YOU for every three-letter acronym (TLA) that we use without explanation.
SRT Solutions’ Executive Briefings are limited to a small group of invited business professionals, enabling us to make them highly interactive and relevant to the group in attendance. We promise not to waste your time.
The executive briefings on emerging technologies will be capped at 25 attendees and registration is required. To register, or for more information, sign up here or call (734) 929-3211.
SRT Software Stimulus Lab
The SRT Solutions Software Stimulus Lab is a hands-on workshop that will cover effective software development techniques; attendees can choose to bring their own software problems to work on with experts or take advantage of examples provided by SRT Solutions.
The SRT Solutions Software Stimulus Lab will offer developers the opportunity to learn new techniques, new languages, including C#, Java, Python, Scala, GWT, Silverlight, or new toolkits alongside experts who will provide hands-on guidance. Attendees can take full advantage of SRT Solutions’ deep expertise to learn new techniques and solutions to specific problems.
The SRT Solutions Software Stimulus Lab is broken into two distinct sessions:
9 a.m. – noon, will offer an introduction to effective software engineering techniques, such as version control, continuous integration, and automated testing. The morning session will start with a brief overview and then progress into hand’s-on work, including a network set up with tools for attendees to use.
1:30 – 4:30 p.m., will focus on topics of interest to attendees as well as continued opportunities to work through specific software challenges with on-site experts.
The cost to attend the SRT Solutions Software Stimulus Lab is $50 (by June 8) and $75 regular rate. Registration is required, and seats are limited. A limited number of scholarships are available for unemployed software developers. Registration and scholarship information is available at www.srtsolutions.com.
Lunch is "on your own". Bring a sack lunch to work through the break, if you wish!
